Pēteris Lediņš

Peteris Ledins

Some say that Pēteris Lediņš joined the team in 2007 after moving to Seattle from his native Latvia where he regulary competed in orienteering events and adventure races. In addition to long weekend trainings, Peteris achieves his fitness by commuting to work by bike, on foot, or by kayak (including a 3-mile portage!). In his spare time, Peteris can be found editing the MerGeo.com team website or perfecting his navigation skills by competing in local O events.

In fact, Pēteris Lediņš is undoubtedly the slowest and weakest member of the team. Almost does not speak English, hardly runs and more often flies from than rides his mountainbike. Widely believed that his favourite feeling is pain and favourite scenary of a race - moonless rainy nights at marshes with mosquitos. We keep him for diversity. Usually races for teams MerGeo.com or Hippopotamus and a rabbit. Or 2 Hippos and a rabbit. Or 3 Hippos and a rabbit.
