Mike Miller

Mike Miller

Mike Miller ran his first marathon in 1982, and after several marathons and three Ironman triathlons, he transitioned to ultra runs on trails as an athletic outlet that would be easier on his body than pounding the pavement. He has competed in races from 50 km to 100 miles. When adventure racing came on the scene, Mike decided it would be a natural fit for him, because he loves the outdoors and is an adept navigator who has dabbled successfully in orienteering races. In addition to being an athlete, Mike is a father of two teenage boys and a Battalion Chief for the Gig Harbor Fire Department.
