Challenge the Port

We had a great showing in Port Gamble for the Challenge the Port race
with two 4-person coed MerGeo.com teams. It was wonderful to see the
large fleet of beautiful white MerGeo.com jerseys at the race.
MerGeo.com/MPGear.com included Matt Hayes, Murray Maitland, Yumay Chang and Aaron VanderWaal. MerGeo.com/Clif include Eric Bone, Peteris Ledins, Kimberly Shavender and Wanda Howlett.
The race format was as follows:
The paddling section probably offered the most excitement as there were some strong northerly winds that caused some pretty good swells. Matt was working 2x to 3x harder in his little surfski trying to keep up with our "Cadillac" triple. By the finish MerGeo.com/MPGear.com took the overall victory and MerGeo.com/Clif took third overall (2nd 4-person coed). The final race time was just under 4 hours.
Kelly and Jennifer put on a great race that included Taco Del Mar burritos at the finish line. Yummy!
